Over 8,500 mines neutralized in railway areas in Azerbaijan

In 2023, more than 53,000 hectares of land, including the areas through which the Horadiz-Aghband and Barda-Aghdam railway lines of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC pass, were cleared of mines, and more than 8,500 mines were neutralized, Report informs with reference to the CJSC.

"With the demining of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, the pace of restoration and reconstruction work is accelerating, and the longing of our compatriots for their native homeland is gradually fulfilled," the information stated.
