The first dry cargo vessel Gadamly, built in Turkmenistan for Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, has arrived at the Baku International Sea Port.
According to Report, the vessel will be engaged in regular container transportation between the ports of Baku and Turkmenbashi.
The commissioning of the new ship is considered an important step for the development of the Middle Corridor and the broader Eurasian transport route.
With a cargo capacity of 6,100 tons and the ability to transport 240 twenty-foot containers, the Gadamly vessel is also expected to contribute positively to the annual cargo handling capacity of the Port of Baku.
