Modernization of Georgian part of BTK to be completed in 2024

The modernization projects of railways in Georgia, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line, will be completed in 2024, according to the government program “For Building European State,” Report informs citing the local press.
"This will significantly reduce the time of cargo transportation between Asia and Europe, which is a necessary condition for attracting additional cargo flows from the territory of the country," the program stated.
