Georgian PM: Trans-Caspian International Transport Route will create great opportunities

“Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, which includes Kazakhstan, China, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia ("Middle Corridor "), will create great opportunities in the world economy."

Local Bureau of Report News Agency informs that Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said at the economy forum held in the city of Nur-Sultan.

According to him, Georgia was one of the first countries to join the "One Belt, One Road" initiative and is an integral part of the initiative to revive the historical Silk Road.

Bakhtadze noted that Georgia claims to become a multi-profile center of the region: "We should become a business, capital investment, finance, innovation, tourism, trade and logistics hub."
