Expert: Apartments sell quickly in TOD residential areas

Apartments in TOD-type residential areas - transit-oriented development - sell quickly.

Report informs that Alina Bisembayeva, founder of Kazakhstan's STEP City organization, said this as part of WUF13 in Baku.

According to her, in traditional urban planning, transport is often considered at the final stage, which causes accessibility problems and road congestion for residents.

She noted that the TOD approach shapes the urban environment around public transport and makes it more convenient and economically efficient. In such projects, housing sells faster, while property values near transport hubs are usually higher.
