Etibar Abbasov: Over 26,000 unusable vehicles scrapped in Azerbaijan

More than 26,000 unserviceable vehicles have been recycled in Azerbaijan, Etibar Abbasov, chairman of the Board of Directors of Tamiz Shahar OJSC, said at an event during WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, the program for recycling unserviceable vehicles has yielded successful results.
"One of our projects is the recycling of unserviceable vehicles. This project has been running for two years now. It has been ongoing for a year and a half, and during this time, more than 26,000 unserviceable vehicles have been recycled. Upon recycler's return, the recycler issues a certificate to individuals, which allows them to qualify for a discount on the purchase of a new vehicle," he said.
