Emin Huseynov: Designing of second smart village underway

Currently, the designing of the second smart village is underway, which will be created in the village of Dovlatyarli, Fuzuli District, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh economic region (except Shusha district) Emin Huseynov, told journalists, Report informs.

“Jobs and important infrastructure will be created in this smart village. It is expected that this smart village will be larger than the first one created in the village of Agali in Zangilan District. Upon completion of the project, it will contain about 1,500 houses. After completion of the design, a tender will be announced for the implementation of this project,” E. Huseynov said.

The foundation of the second smart village was laid on October 17 last year by President Ilham Aliyev. Around the world, similar projects aim to stop the flow of people from rural areas to cities, the creation of jobs in rural areas, and the ability of people to earn a living. It also allows rural residents to have access to public services.
