A new bridge to be built on Azerbaijan-Russia border

Baku. 9 June. REPORT.AZ/ Construction works of road bridge project across the River Samur (Azerbaijan-Russia border) will start next year.

Report informs, Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov, who is on visit to Baku told reporters.

'Infrastructure development project is available on the construction of a new road bridge over Samur river. I think we will be able to start work next year.Preparation of project documents has ended. I hope that after examination in 2017 finally the construction works can begin.This is important project carried out in a timely manner. Because the term of exploitation of existing infrastructure expired and it is in emergency condition", he added.
