Civil Aviation Administration: No restrictions on use of Azerbaijan's air space

Baku. 15 October. REPORT.AZ/ There are no restrictions in use of airspace of Azerbaijan. Report informs, a statement of State Civil Aviation Administration says.

"The area of the airspace of Azerbaijan, including the Caspian Sea, is 168 thousand square kilometers. Now there are no restrictions on use of air space of Azerbaijan", the statement declares.

Every day in the airspace of Azerbaijan are made 400-450 flights (including transit). Among them are aircrafts of Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, Singapore Airlines and other companies.

The flights are carried out in compliance with all security measures and standards in accordance with the standards and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
