Census underway in historic part of Shaki

A population census is being carried out in the historic part of Sheki, stated Gulnara Aliyeva, Director of the Sheki State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, at WUF13 in Baku, according to Report.

She said that population registration in the Yukhari Bash reserve is being conducted through a house-to-house survey to determine socio-economic and demographic indicators.

She also noted that a Community Center is planned to be established in Sheki, which will involve local residents in the management of the reserve and provide a platform for engagement with the community.
