"The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project reduces transportation time and costs sufficiently," Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani said.
Georgian Bureau of Report informs that he spoke at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani and Turkish counterparts.
According to the Minister, BTK has become a competitive corridor connecting Europe and Asia: "Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey have a hand in the restoration of the historic silk road, which contributes to the deepening of cooperation between countries and the expansion of ties between peoples."
According to Zalkaliani, these countries will encourage cooperation of business circles, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, as well as hold trilateral business forums.
