Boeing to supply Korean Air with up to 50 aircraft

American aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co. has signed an agreement with South Korea's Korean Air to deliver twenty 777-9 and twenty 787-10 aircraft, according to Report, which cites Boeing's press service.

The deal, inked at the Farnborough Airshow, also includes an option for an additional ten 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

In the first half of 2024, Boeing secured orders for 156 aircraft, a significant drop from the 366 orders in the same period last year. The orders included 101 aircraft from the 737 MAX family, 42 from the 777 series, and 13 from the 787 series.

Since the beginning of 2024, Boeing's market capitalization has fallen by 31%.
