Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev received visiting Belarusian Minister of Architecture and Construction Ruslan Parkhamovich, the Committee told Report.
During the meeting, the chairman noted the high level of cooperation between the two countries in many areas and expressed satisfaction with the constant exchange of experience in urban planning and construction in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Afterwards, Guliyev briefed his Belarusian counterpart on the work carried out under Ilham Aliyev's leadership to restore and reconstruct the liberated territories of Azerbaijan through a successful anti-terrorist and coercive operation against Armenia, the Committee's general activities, and urban planning reforms.
Parkhamovich said he attached special importance to the development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan based on the principles of mutual trust, respect, and friendship. He provided detailed information about the activities of the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction of Belarus, noting that they are ready to support the construction work in Karabakh, to participate in the urban planning process of the country's designers and construction experts.
During the meeting, the two government agencies exchanged views on opportunities for future cooperation in the field of urban planning, as well as the application of modern information technologies in design and construction, discussed mutual relations and possible joint projects.
