Baku Port’s Ro-Ro terminal to be controlled by private company

“At present, the Port of Baku is fully owned by the state, and all terminals are controlled by state-owned Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC, Director General of the CJSC Taleh Ziyadov said in his interview with a foreign media.
According to him, this situation will be changed soon: “We want the terminals to be controlled by companies operating in this field. For example, a company, which is experienced in this field and able to involve extra loads, will serve the Ro-Ro terminal. This decision concerns container terminal and group terminal too.”
