Baku Metro halts operations until January 31

According to the Task Force's decision under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Baku Metro will be closed till 06:00, January 31.
The decision also states that public transport suspends activity until 06:00 on January 31 in all country territories on Saturdays and Sundays.
Notably, considering the high level of disease in Azerbaijan in recent months, Task Force decided to tighten quarantine measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
According to the decision, the special quarantine regime in the country will be extended until January 31, 2021, at 06:00;
From 00:00 on December 14, 2020, to 00:00 on January 18, 2021, a tightened quarantine regime will be applied throughout the country.
