    Strong wind, expected in Istanbul causes flight cancellation

    Baku. 13 January.REPORT.AZ/ Baku-Istanbul regular flight of 'Turkish Airlines' (TA), to be carried out today at 14:35, has canceled.

    Report was told at Baku office of Turkish Airlines, reason of TK333 flight cancellation on January 13, is strong southwestern wind expected in Istanbul.

    'Passengers, who have bought tickets for cancelled flight to mentioned direction have not been made any alternative offer', the company says.

    Company carries out 5 flights on this route (4 of them carried out to Atatürk airport, 1 to Sabiha Gökçen) every weekdays. Price of one-way ticket on this direction starts from 256 manats, of round-trip ticket 307 manats.

    Report was told at 'Azerbaijan Airlines' JCSC , flights to this direction has not been cancelled: 'All flights, planned for today have been sent according to schedule. No serious problem is available for cancellation of flights.'

    AZAL carries out flights on Baku-Istanbul route all weekdays (5 flights in a day).
