Azerbaijan Railways increases transit cargo transportation by 11%

In the first quarter of this year, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC transported more than 1.8 million tons of transit cargo.

Report informs, with reference to the CJSC, that this is 11% more compared to the same period last year.

Over the past year, Azerbaijan Railways’ cargo transportation within the country increased by 6% and exceeded 0.8 million tons.

In January-March, the railway company carried more than 4.4 million tons of cargo.
