Azerbaijan negotiating increase in cargo transportation with three countries

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Turkey have started negotiations on increasing cargo transportation, Rufat Bayramov, National Secretary of the Intergovernmental Commission for Azerbaijan on the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA), told Report.
According to him, consultations are currently being held between the ministries of these states.
“Discussions between the countries are related to the handling of cargo, which will increase in the direction of the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route), of which Azerbaijan is a member. The issue of the full readiness of the existing transport in this direction to increase cargo transportation, the sufficiency of ships, etc. is being discussed.
