Baku. 26 September. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan is interested to participate in Renewable Energy Projects of Iran.
Report informs citing foreign media, the Chairman of State Agency for Renewable and Alternative Energy Sources of Azerbaijan Akim Badalov said that a delegation would visit Iran soon to explore the areas of potential collaboration.
Azerbaijani company ASPI Consulting Engineers Inc had participated in exploring the feasibility of implementing small hydro power projects on the Iranian coast of the Caspian Sea.
Iran aims to add about 5,000 MW of wind and solar power capacity by 2018.
