Azerbaijan exports green coke to China through Middle Corrido

Another cargo transportation was carried out within the framework of cooperation between ADY Container and Azeraluminium LLC. Report informs that containers of green coke were exported from Azerbaijan to China.

In the block train running on the Ganja-Pingyuan route, cargo is transported in 50 containers, each 40 feet. The train traveling on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route was delivered from the port of Alat to the port of Aktau in Kazakhstan via the feeder ship Baris. Later, it headed toward China through the territory of Kazakhstan.

To use the containers efficiently, green coke was loaded into the containers where pre-baked carbon anode blocks were brought to our country some time ago and sent back to China for processing.

The project is implemented following the memorandum of understanding on joint cargo transportation signed between ADY Container and Azeraluminum companies.
