AZAL VP: We project to launch Lankaran-Moscow and Nakhchivan-Moscow fligths

Moscow. 15 March. REPORT.AZ/ About 70,000 passengers have been delivered to Baku from Vnukovo Airport from the beginning of this year.

Report’s Moscow correspondent informs, vice president of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) Eldar Hajiyev told in press conference at Vnukovo Airport dedicated to launch of AZALJET flights from Moscow to Ganja and Gabala.

“New flights will increase these figures. Heydar Aliyev Airport receives 3 mln passengers in a year with available capacity 9 mln”, E.Hajiyev told.

According to him, passenger transportation of Heydar Aliyev Airport is up by 34% comparing to last year. AZAL have increased passenger transportation by 28%.

“AZALJET’s Ganja-St.Petersburg flight operates successfully. The company projects to launch Lankaran-Moscow and Nakhchivan-Moscow fligths in 2018”.
