AZAL and Russia’s state corporation sign MoU

A delegation of the State Air Traffic Management Corporation of the Russian Federation (State ATM Corporation) headed by Director General Igor Moiseenko visited Baku on February 18, AZAL (Azerbaijan Airlines) told Report.

As part of the visit, the Russian delegation met with the Director of “Azeraeronavigation” Air Traffic Control Department (AZANS) Farhan Guliyev. Heads of ATC “Azeraeronavigation” and State ATM Corporation signed a memo to expand bilateral cooperation and implement joint projects.

The sides stressed an increase in air transportation volumes in recent years, noting, in this regard, that the provision of safe and high-quality air navigation services is an essential area of cooperation between the two companies.

The memorandum will contribute to the joint activities of national providers of air navigation services in the development and implementation of modern technologies to solve the problems of air traffic.
