The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku will leave a lasting legacy, Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and National Coordinator of WUF13, said at the forum's final press conference, Report informs.
According to him, the most important example of this legacy is the Baku Urban Development Award – the only international award within the forum, created and presented at the initiative of Azerbaijan.
"This award is designed to bring together experience, knowledge, and policy. It reflects Azerbaijan's commitment to promoting innovation, excellence, and international cooperation in sustainable urban development and housing," Guliyev added.
