Ambassador: "Negotiations holding between Iran's Amirabad and Baku's Alat ports”

Baku. 9 May. REPORT.AZ/ "Relations between the ports of Azerbaijan and Iran are discussed".

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Javad Jahangirzadeh said in an interview to Report.

According to him, negotiations are being held between Amirabad port of Iran and Alat port of Azerbaijan within the framework of the World Ports Confrence held in Baku today. "The talks include cargo and other spheres."

The ambassador emphasized the importance of the event and said that it would contribute to the cooperation in this area.

Jahangirzadeh said that on May 12, an event will be held in Iranian Astara on the North-South transport corridor and the Azerbaijani side will be represented by the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Javid Gurbanov.
