ADB grants first private sector loan for housing in Georgia

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $10 million loan for housing construction in Tbilisi, Report's Georgian bureau informs that the bank signed an agreement with Optima LLC.
According to ADB, the loan will be used for the construction of two energy-efficient residential complexes of 3,700 apartments in Tbilisi, intended for people with low and middle incomes.
This is the bank's first loan to the private sector for the construction of residential buildings in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
