Petkim, Turkey's only integrated petrochemical enterprise, in which the main share belongs to SOCAR, sold 1.145 million tons of 1.53 million ton products in the first half of this year.
According to Petkim Holding, in the first half of this year, production fell by 9% and sales by 1.89%.
During the reporting period, investments in Petkim, mainly modernization, technological development, energy efficiency, and environmental areas, amounted to 249 million Turkish Liras.
Petkim Holding was established on April 3, 1965. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) became Petkim's main shareholder by the results of the privatization process in 2008. The company holds a 51% stake in Petkim Holding, while the remaining shares are traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
