SOCAR Carbamide Plant posts sixfold increase in revenues

Last year, the revenues of SOCAR Carbamide Plant, a resident of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, increased six times to over 223 million manats, Report informs.
According to the Ministry of Economy, sales of urea fertilizer produced at the plant have tripled over the past three years to about 372,000 tons.
The urea fertilizer produced at the enterprise is sold on the domestic market as well as abroad. As much as 87% of the plant's products are exported to Brazil, Turkey, Romania, Russia, Bulgaria, Albania, Italy, Georgia and other countries.
The SOCAR Carbamide Plant was launched in January 2019. The company plays an essential role in eliminating dependence on nitrogen fertilizer imports and meeting the needs of Azerbaijani farmers.
