Production value of Baku Shipyard more than triples

In the first half of 2024, the production value of Baku Shipyard LLC more than tripled year-on-year to 25 million manats ($14.7 million), Report informs, citing the Economic Zones Development Agency of Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry.
The plant is a resident of the Garadag Industrial Park under the management of the agency. Currently, 722 people are provided with permanent jobs there.
The enterprise has saved more than 73 million manats ($42.94 million) since 2015 thanks to import VAT and customs concessions applied in the park.
