The newly appointed ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Dmitry Pinevich, has met with the management of the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), Report informs via the plant's press service.
"The General Director of the enterprise, Valery Ivankovich, informed the ambassador about the state of affairs regarding cooperation with Azerbaijan, including projects for the supply of fire and municipal equipment. The diplomat, in turn, assured MAZ management of providing comprehensive support for promoting the equipment in the country," reads the report.
The Minsk Automobile Plant specializes in the production of cargo, passenger, trailer, and special equipment.
The company produces about 500 models and modifications of flatbed and all-wheel drive vehicles, dump trucks, chassis, tractors, timber trucks, trailers and semi-trailers, cranes, special equipment, and about 15 models of buses, trolleybuses, and electric buses.
MAZ has a representative office in Azerbaijan and actively develops cooperation with the Ganja Automobile Plant. In particular, there is an agreement between the two enterprises for the production of rescue equipment at the assembly facility in Ganja.
