Azerbaijan sees over twofold surge in value of gold exports

In January-July of 2025, Azerbaijan exported gold worth $178.8 million, marking a 2.4-fold increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
According to the August issue of Export Review published by the center, in July alone, the country exported gold valued at $33.9 million. This is 2.1 times more compared to a year ago.
Overall, Azerbaijan"s non-oil sector exports rose by 11.4% over the seven-month period compared to the corresponding period in 2024, reaching a total of $2.1 billion.
