Azerbaijan sees decline in car and tractor productions 

From January through September 2022, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth 377.9 million manats ($222.3 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The machinery and equipment production surged by 49.4%, other transport facilities went up 3.2-fold, and cars, trailers, and semi-trailers – by 93.7%.

For the January-to-September period of 2022, 1,510 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 42 vehicles, or 2.3% more than the same period last year. As of October 1, 2022, the country has stocked 164 finished products.

During the first nine months of this year, Azerbaijan produced 489 tractors, 4.1% less than in January-September 2021. As a result, the country had 22 finished products as of October 1.
