Azerbaijan’s private car production jumps 70% in 11 months 

From January through November 2023, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth 615.8 million manats ($362.24 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production surged by 37.4%, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers by 52.1%, and other transport facilities went down by 9.9%.

For the January-to-November period of 2023, 3,079 private vehicles were produced in Azerbaijan, 1,267 cars, or 69.9%, more than the same period last year. As of December 1, 2023, the country had stocked 859 finished products.

During the eleven months of this year, Azerbaijan produced 619 tractors, 11.3% higher than in January–November 2022. As a result, the country had 11 finished products as of December 1.

In the reporting period, the country assembled 315 trucks, showing a 6.4% growth in comparison to a year earlier. As of December 1, 2023, the finished products stood at 1.
