Azerbaijan's 5-month tea production nears 4,500 tons

In January–May of 2026, Azerbaijan produced 4,425.5 tons of tea, marking a 5% decrease year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.

As of June 1, the country had 99 tons of final product in stock, up 45.8% compared to a year earlier.

Over the course of five months, Azerbaijan's food production totaled nearly 2.256 billion manats (approximately $1.38 billion), an increase of 10.7% compared to the corresponding period in 2025.
