Azerbaijan increases car production by 4%

From January through August 2021, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, other vehicles worth 228.1 million manats ($134.25 million), Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, the production of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers increased by 1.8% compared to the same period last year.

From January through August, 1,214 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 44 cars or 3.8% more from the same period last year. As of September 1, 2021, the country has stocked 239 finished products.

During the first eight months of 2021, Azerbaijan produced 432 tractors, 2.6 times more than in January-August 2020. As a result, the country had 59 finished products as of September 1.
