Azerbaijan increases car manufacture by 6.5-fold

Azerbaijan manufactured machinery and equipment, transport facilities, cars, trailers and semi-trailers worth AZN 221.7 million in January-September 2019.

State Statistical Committee told Report that machinery and equipment production surged 1.8%, other transport facilities slipped 11.9% and cars, trailers and semi-trailers – 32.2%.

Azerbaijan manufactured 886 tractors, down 26.2% from the previous year. As of October 1, 2019, the finished products made up 358.

In the reporting period, 1,688 private cars were manufactured, up 6.5-fold from a year earlier (finished products - 325).
