Anglo Asian Mining plc posts sharp decrease in production volumes in Azerbaijan

Anglo Asian Mining plc, the AIM-listed gold, copper, and silver producer primarily operating in Azerbaijan, produced 2,548 gold equivalent ounces (GEO) in 2024, Report informs, citing Q1 2024 production and operations reviews of the company.

According to the review, this is down 4.3-fold from 2023.

In the first quarter, 2,252 GEOs of gold production were provided. This is threefold less than the indicator for the first quarter of 2023.

Last year's copper production by Anglo Asian Mining plc fell by 15.7-fold to 54 tonnes compared to the first quarter of 2023.

In the first quarter of 2024, silver production decreased by 3.5-fold, to 6,410 ounces.
