Two more Azerbaijani judokas end their participation in world championship - UPDATED

Baku. 21 September. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani judoka Nijat Shikhalizada has ended his participation in the Baku-host world championship.

According to Report, in the 66 kg competitions the athlete lost to Brazilian Daniel Cargnin in the 1/16 final.

Notably, another Azerbaijani judoka - Buyankishiq Purevsuren (52 kg) lost in the 1/32 final.

Two more Azerbaijani judokas joined the competition on the second day of the world champinship held in Baku.

Report informs that in the 52 kg competitions among women Buyankishiq Purevsuren lost by ippon to Great Britain's Chelsie Giles in the 80th second.

Meanwhile, in the 66 kg men's competitions Nijat Shikhalizada upset Mohamed Abdel Mawqoud by ippon in the 38th second. He will further encounter Brazilian Daniel Cargnin.
