Tokyo 2020: US leads at Olympics medal table

The US team secured first place at the Tokyo Olympics medal table with the highest number of medals after the US women's volleyball team won gold, Report informs.

The US team won 112 medals at the Tokyo Olympics (39 gold, 40 silver, and 33 bronze medals).

China follows the US with 88 medals (38 gold, 32 silver, and 18 bronze). The third and the fourth places in the medal standings of the Tokyo Olympics are taken by Japan (27 gold, 14 silver, 17 bronze) and the UK (22 gold, 21 silver, 22bronze), respectively.
