Tokyo 2020: Azerbaijani Paralympians win third gold medal

Another Azerbaijani judoka Vugar Shirinli has reached the final of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.

According to Report, the athlete in the weight category of 60 kg faced Anuar Sariyev from Kazakhstan.

Shirinli won a gold medal, beating his opponent.

Earlier, female judoka Shahana Hajiyeva (48 kg) and swimmer Raman Salei became Paralympic champions.

According to Report, the athlete in the weight category of 48 kg faced French Sandrine Martinet.

Hajiyeva, who defeated her opponent, became a Paralympic champion.

According to Report, Shahana Hajiyeva (48 kg) reached the final in the women's category and Vugar Shirinli (60 kg) in men.

Another male judoka Namig Abasli (66 kg) will compete in the bronze medal match.

The next female judoka Basti Safarova (52 kg) lost in a consolation game and settled for 7th place.
