Tokyo-2020: Azerbaijan secures first silver medal

Azerbaijani team claimed its first silver in the Tokyo-2020 Summer Olympic Games.
Report informs that in karateka Rafael Agayev rose to the second stage of the pedestal after losing to Italy's Luigi Busa in the final.
The 36-year-old athlete claimed silver.
Earlier, judoka Irina Kindzerska, +78 kg, boxer Alfonso Dominguez, 81 kg, and Greco-Roman wrestler Rafig Huseynov, 77 kg, secured bronze medals. Moreover, freestyle wrestler Haji Aliyev, 65 kg, qualified for the final, while female wrestler Maria Stadnik, 50 kg, and another freestyle wrestler Sharif Sharifov, 97 kg, will vie for bronze. All three bouts will take place on August 7.
