The only Russian pilot of Formula 1 team dismisses

Baku. 25 October. REPORT.AZ/ Italia's Toro Rosso team, one of the participants of the Formula 1 championship dismissed Russian pilot Daniil Kvyat.

Report informs, advisor to the Red Bull GmbH Formula 1 Teams Helmut Marko said that Daniil Kvyat will not return to Formula 1 with Red Bull backing.

"We do not believe he can make the turnaround in the long term”, he said.

Despite his top-ten finish, Toro Rosso announced that Pierre Gasly and Brendon Hartley would make up their Mexican GP line-up.

Kvyat was then heavily out-scored by Toro Rosso team-mate Carlos Sainz and he was 'rested' for the Malaysia and Japanese GPs after crashing in September's Singapore GP.

Notably, Toro Rosso is a small team of Red Bull. Daniil Kvyat, the only Russian pilot in Formula 1, has been working for the Italian representative since 2010.
