Sports Ministry waiting for decision from Task Force

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is waiting for the Task Force's decision under the Cabinet of Ministers to open sports facilities and resume competitions, Press Secretary at the ministry Samaya Mammadova told Report.

According to her, no final decision has been made regarding the sports facilities, including stadiums.

The ministry official said they would comment after the Task Force decides on opening the sports facilities. "If there is no decision, we cannot talk about this issue."

Notably, on March 13, all mass sports events in Azerbaijan were postponed indefinitely.
