Sports director of Spanish Judo Federation: "I expect a great organization in Baku"

Baku. 10 September. REPORT.AZ/ "Our judokas have been preparing for this competition for a long time. They have trained very well both technically and tactically. Each of them aims to gain medals in the world championship."

The statement came from sports director of the Spanish Judo Federation Sara Alvarez Menendez while speaking about the world championship to be held in Baku. She also stressed that they will try to gain medals in all weight categories: "This is difficult but not impossible. All Spanish judokas are valuable for me. Therefore, I can not say who I expect to win a medal."

The federation official also voiced positive thoughts about the Azerbaijani judokas and said she expected a good organization from Baku: "Most Azerbaijani judokas are strong and hard-working. Like from other world championship, I expect a good organization in Baku."

Notably, the world judo championship will be arranged at the National Gymnastics Arena on September 20-27.
