Some Azerbaijani athletes fail doping test - OFFICIAL

Baku. 12 July. REPORT.AZ/ Some Azerbaijani athletes have tested positive for doping test.

Executive Director of Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) Shafag Huseynli told Report. 

She said that following the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, unpleasant cases have been identified as a result of the process, covering 109 athletes of various national federations. However, Sh. Huseynli did not want to disclose names of athletes and kind of sports yet. Head of the AMADA said she will make statement about this soon.

Notably, doping tests were conducted in the anti-doping laboratory in Cologne, Germany.
