President of the Romanian NOC will visit Baku

Bucharest. 19 September. REPORT.AZ/ President of the Romanian National Olympic and Sports Committee Mihai Covaliu will arrive in Azerbaijan.

Romanian NOC President M. Covaliu told the Eastern European Bureau of Report News Agency.

He said that will attend a ceremony dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan on 29 September, in the composition of a delegation.

Notably, Mihai Covaliu, who won gold medal in 2000 Sydney Olympics, 2005 World Cup and 2006 European Championship in fencing, was elected president of Romania's NOC in November 2016.
