New Sports Federation appoints vice presidents and heads of commissions - PHOTO

The Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Federation held its first meeting with the full staff.

Report says, citing the press service of the Federation, that the main issues on the agenda include discussion of the Action Plan for 2020, preparation and approval of the Event Plan for this year, determination of membership criteria, the election of vice-presidents and commission chairpersons, and the nomination of candidates for the secretary-general. Members of the Board held an exchange of views and voiced their suggestions.

As a result of the discussions, the participants made relevant decisions. Firuz Abdulla and Mahir Rustamli were elected vice-presidents. At the same time, Vugar Zeynalov (relations with federations and other sports organizations), Firuz Abdulla (ethics), Elshan Mammadov (organization and holding of events) and Ellada Mustafayeva (international relations and education) will chair the commissions. The commissions will include two more members.

The next meeting will focus on the discussion of candidates for the post of secretary-general.
