New date announced for 2020 European Rowing Championship

Following the postponement of the 2020 European Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the review of postponement options available for staging these events has continued.
After the consultation, new dates were announced for the 2020 European Rowing events.
The 2020 European Rowing Championships will now take place from October 9 to 11, 2020.
The Championship was previously scheduled for June 5-7.
Azerbaijani athletes will also compete in the event.
