Ministry of Youth and Sports awards the best of the year - LIST

The best of 2019 in Physical Education and Sports have been announced in Azerbaijan.

Report informs that the awardees were honored at an event held today at the State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports.

Coaches of the Year: Ziyad Khalfeyev (Athletics, Nazim Babayev's Coach), Rashad Ahmadov (Senior Coach of the Taekwondo National Team), Akbar Muradov (head coach of the national paralympic shooting team)

Referees referees of the year: Emin Gurbanaliyev (boxing), Fariz Huseynov (judo), Asif Shiraliyev (wrestling)

For high level organization and holding of sports competitions: Gymnastics Federation

 Federation of the Year: Judo Federation

Team of the year: Women's chess team

Sports Volunteer of the Year: Dinara Aliyeva

Child Youth Sports School of the Year: Child Youth Sports School in Goychay

Sports Organization of the Year: Sports Society of the Ministry of Internal Affairs ("Dynamo")

Sports Doctor of the Year: Olga Panina (Cycling Federation), Zaur Abdullayev (Boxing Federation)

Most active veteran of the year: Tofik Babanli (boxing)

Sports facilities of the year: Sheki OSC, Beylagan OSC, Kazakh OSC

Organizer of the best sports broadcasts of the year: Mehman Rasulov ("Real" TV)

Sports Agency of the Year - Oxu.az (Sabuhi Musayev)

Sports TV Channel of the Year - ATV (Senan Shafizade)

TV Program of the Year: Sports and Media (Sport)

Awards established by the Fair Play Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan on the results of 2019:
