Mingachevir Regatta 2026 kicks off in Fuzuli today

The Mingachevir Regatta 2026 international tournament, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation (ACRF), will begin today in Fuzuli and run through October 1, Report informs.
The first stage of the tournament will take place at the Kondalanchay Reservoir, where athletes will compete in 200-meter kayak and canoe events.
On September 30 and October 1, competitions in all disciplines and distances will be held at the Mingachevir Kur Olympic Training and Sports Center.
More than 100 young rowers from Azerbaijan, as well as the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, will compete in the international tournament.
