Baku. 7 January. REPORT.AZ/ K-1 athlete of Azerbaijan Zabit Samadov will compete in the crucial battle of the professional ring of Turkey. Report inform, 14 professional fighters will compete in the tournament that will take place in "Sinan Erdem" arena in Istanbul on 28 February. The main fight will be held between Zabit Samadov and Turkish athlete Mert Akin in the arena with 15 thousand seats. 

Z. Samadov said to Report that he has already started training and will visit Thailand on January 20 to play at the training camp. Azerbaijani athlete defeated Turkish sportsman Erhan Deniz in the World Cup semi-final in 2006 and the game ended in a draw with Ali Jenik in 2011 in Moscow.

Zabit Samadov known as "Maugli" held the last fight with Makoto Uehara, a Japanese master of black belt, a participant of K-1 heavyweight games, in Tokyo on December 29. After the first three rounds of the game, the referees stated that a total score was equal to support the home's athlete. However, Zabit Samadov achieved victory in the 4th round.
